Pastor Starkey has been serving the APW community for over twelve years now.  He runs our youth group, community food pantry, and has served on the local Red Cross Disaster Action team, Service to the Armed Forces Team, and the APW school board for seven years.  He loves this community and calls it “the land of milk and honey”.  He jokingly refers to himself as a plow boy preacher and has many unique experiences for a Pastor. He served honorably in the Marines, worked in manufacturing jobs from plastic manufacturing, PPG glass plant, to Yoplait yogurt.  He left Yoplait to church plant in Upper Peninsula Michigan while running a correctional facility kitchen crew.  Now he has spent a decade serving and loving Upstate New York.
